The IUT Paris Descartes, located at 143 Avenue de Versailles in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, was established in 1968 and consists of six academic departments. The IUT is a component of the University Paris Descartes.
All cycles combined, the IUT has about 1,800 students and 700 apprentices and trainees continuing education, 150 permanent teachers, 400 professional workers and 80 administrative staff.
